Yes they are much higher than I would like, but then again when you compare new vehicles of the same class, I think they still have the best value proposition. Eg. The dolphin top spec is the same as the new entry level id.3 and has comprehensively more features in basically every area, as well as more range.

BYD deserves to fail in the UK, their UK prices are disgusting.

Indeed, so why are other Chinese brands selling in the UK for the same as EU prices or in some cases higher? BYD, XPeng etc.

It shouldn't be hard to find a dealer chain for the Slovak market if they're coming to Czechia.
Currently, MG, Dongfeng and BYD are on sale in both Czechia and Slovakia selling the same models. Xpeng will come to both countries via the same distributor (Hedin).

It's probably just that they haven't found a dealer chain to take them on yet.
