Too big, clumpsy. And a stationcar based on a sedan is an easy product to develop.

Well, if not for China, – for sure for Europe! We prefer practical cars, not only status.

Wagon customers in China are more likely to be enthusiasts, who will know about the S9's suspension tuning issues. Zeekr and Nio likely got their wagons to sell with their sportier looks, performance, and handling at a decent price; the Denza Z9 isn't selling amazingly well despite its BYD association, and I think the S9's reputation and BAIC association will cause the wagon to also flop.

However, it's still worth it for them to try the wagon, as the sedan model already has seemed to have failed. Of the premium wagons, it is the only EREV (Z9GT is PHEV tho), only one with Huawei infotainment, it easily has the best ADAS with ADS 4, and will have the advantage of being on display in Huawei stores.
