Why they haven't announced additional factories when sitting on a HUGE winner is beyond me. I wonder what the bottle neck is.

Thanks for your reply. Yep, F3 wont be up and running for at least a year. With the release of the EREV SUV next year Xiaomi will continue to be production constrained, not demand constrained. They will need F3 very fully up and running to even think of exports in 2027.

Hi AngloCanuck, thanks for your message!

We certainly check all information carefully. The F1 and F2 annual capacity of 150,000 is official information from Xiaomi.

However, you are right; the sales data show that the math doesn’t add up. We will look into it further.

Regarding the Xiaomi F3, it will certainly not start production soon, as the company only purchased the land for the third phase this month.

Xiaomi last month produced 28,000 SU7s at the F1 plant, that's nearly 360,000 per year. What you are quoting may be for a single shift only.

Given the above we can expect F2 to ramp up to about 25,000 to 30,000 within about 8 months, about 360,000 a year.

Then they have to add F3 for the YU7 demand (should be 3*SU7) plus the EREV. Hence the F3 plant will most probably be started production soon.
